4) The man’s headless body was found on the floor of the Palazzo Vecchio in front of the statue of Judith beheading Holophernes; the head: dangling from the window. To the detective, it was apparent that whoever committed the crime had tricked the man into the location since there were no signs of a struggle or the man having died before entering the Palazzo Vecchio—the murderer had to be clever, not strong. The man had a good reputation in Florence and lived in the city with his wife. But with some uncovering of dirty secrets, it was revealed to the detective that the man had a different side to him that was hidden from Florence and the world. The dead man had many secret wives and families—many secret lives spread out across Europe. Not-so-spoiler alert: the Florentine wife did it out of jealousy.
4. Fabio has lived in Florence for 7 years. Before that, he was hopping from one city to the next changing his identity so no one would find him. He is a descendant of the Medici family, but he knows he has tarnished his name because he wasn't born a royal man, but a killer. He knows he was brought up in a family of good morals-but cannot control himself. He is wanted in 14 countries and his family has disowned him. He finally has settled in florence because no one knows him and never asks for his identity. He lurks the dark alley ways and hides inbetween the shadows and preys on tourists and students who are studying abroad because he knows the italian police would not care.
4. Several years ago there were two young newlyweds traveling Europe. They entered a contest to win a one night stay at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy. They were ecstatic for their free night at the Palazzo, but little did they know that their stay was too good to be true. Full of excitement the two of them arrived in Florence just in time for their stay. The families of the couple waited anxiously to hear about the stay at the famous building, but they did not hear from them for a couple of days, but they thought it just could have been the lack of cell service or wifi. A week later with no word from either of the newlyweds, their families began to grow suspicious. Two weeks later and there was still nothing. Investigators searched the Palazzo Vecchio for evidence, but all they could find was a sticker that belonged to one of the girls that said "Peace, Love, and Pizza" and a drawing of the Palazzo. To this day the investigation is known as the "PV Disappearance" and remains a complete mystery. All efforts to find out what happened to the couple will remain in full force until any information is found.
Lucia was on a plane from New York to Rome. She was uprooting her life to Italy because she was offered a new job as an architect. She left everything behind to start a new life. On the plane she was sitting next to a man who looked oddly familiar. They began to chat and to her surprise he was an architect too. After about 4 hours on the plane the man excused himself to the bathroom. For the remainder of the flight Lucia was sitting alone because the man never returned. She just thought that maybe he got a seat change or upgraded to first class. When she arrived in Rome she picked up the newspaper and saw the man that she was sitting next to on the front page. The article read, "Man murdered and hanged at Palazzo Vecchio". How could that be have been possible?! Lucia saw this as a bad omen. Lucia told her new boss about this mysterious ghost that appeared to her. Her boss believed her to be insane and fired her. She was depressed, went crazy and ended up in an asylum.
